When we think about where God is leading us, it’s also important to remember where God has been with us in our past. These are just glimpses of what God is doing in our lives and through this season of harvest.
“The Lord is not done with me here”
I have been a believer since I was in my 20s, but I didn't always walk in God’s will for my life. I was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and when that happens, your perspective changes on everything. Suddenly I saw things differently and things became a whole lot clearer. I got more serious in my relationship with the Lord. The doctor wasn't hopeful I would make it through it and now weeks later, the scan is clear and all three spots are “resolved”. The Lord is not done with me here and has performed a miracle in my life! He does indeed perform miracles TODAY….not just in biblical times.

“God is carrying us, even when we feel too weak”
My dad unexpectedly passed away at just 48 years old. This has been the hardest time of my life. Even in the middle of our heartbreak, I’ve seen God at work. He has surrounded my family with people who have prayed for us, brought us meals, reached out with encouragement, and reminded us that we are not walking through this alone. Every message, every hug, and every act of kindness has been a reminder that God is carrying us, even when we feel too weak to stand on our own.

“All you need is a mustard seed size of faith”
Many times in my life God has provided for me, but I have one specific incident that blew my mind. I was in a LifeGroup and learned through that group of wonderful men about tithing on my salary. All I can say on that is, Wow! You have got to try tithing!!! I had no idea how giving a portion of what I made to God in faith would bless me like it did. During that time, I had a pretty high debt on a credit card. I was so embarrassed to bring it to God, but I knew he already knew. I finally got over myself and prayed long and hard over this debt. And I prayed, and I prayed, and I prayed. A pretty significant time had passed and I received a call one day about money I had sitting in an old account that was $2 over what I needed to pay the debt off for. God hadn't forgotten about me and He blessed me. Just remember, nothing is insurmountable with God! All you need is a mustard seed size of faith.
